Daniel Fonte

Daniel Fonte currently serves as the Head of Application Engineering at Speedgoat, a position held since September 2016, and previously worked as a Technical Support & Training Engineer. At Assystem, Daniel has been an R&D Engineer focused on Autonomous Driving since July 2014, leading a work package for a RENAULT project and serving as the ADAS & Autonomous Driving deputy. Prior experience includes a role as a Systems Engineer in Safety Critical Systems at ALTEN, where Daniel consulted for AREVA on software validation for a nuclear submarine, and roles at B2i Automotive Engineering and IPFN, focusing on embedded software and autonomous driving features, respectively. Daniel began a career as a trainee at Sonae Sierra and holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, along with an ERASMUS experience at ENSTA ParisTech in Robotics and Systems Engineering.
