Todd Hanke has a solid background in the field of geotechnical engineering. Todd'smost recent position was as the Vice President and Geotechnical Division Manager at Speedie & Associates, LLC, which they started in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager at the same company from December 2021 to July 2023. Before joining Speedie & Associates, LLC, Todd worked at The Transtec Group, Inc. as a Project Manager from March 2015 to December 2021. Todd also gained experience as a Project Engineer at Speedie & Associates from July 2001 to March 2015 and as a Staff Engineer at Braun Intertec Corporation from July 1999 to July 2001.
Todd Hanke attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1994 to 1999. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering and also received a Bachelor's Degree in Geology and Geophysics.

Our firm has extensive experience in Arizona and the Southwest and has operated in Phoenix since 1980. Speedie's main office and laboratory facility is based in Phoenix, Arizona and currently operates branch facilities in Tucson and Flagstaff, Arizona. At the present time we have a shared statewide staff of 110 including 11 professional engineers and geologists. Our field and laboratory staff of 45 +/- technicians participate in technician certification programs administered by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), the Arizona Technical Testing Institute (ATTI), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). The International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) certifies our senior technicians. Additionally, our Phoenix & Tucson laboratories have been inspected by the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL), the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) where we also participate in their reference sample and quality assurance programs.
