Peter Koehne

Peter Koehne has extensive work experience in procurement and management roles. Peter currently holds the position of Chief Procurement Officer at Speira since December 2022. Before joining Speira, they served as Co-Chair SPP GERMANY and Ambassador at The Sustainable Procurement Pledge since October 2021. Prior to that, they were Vice President Procurement at Viessmann from October 2019 to December 2022. Peter also held leadership positions at Ashland Industries Deutschland GmbH, Ashland Industries Europe GmbH, and ISP (Switzerland) GmbH / Ashland Industries Europe GmbH. Peter Koehne started their career as an Electrical Engineer at TEHA Engineering in 1993 and went on to work in various roles at ISP Marl GmbH and Infracor GmbH/Hüls AG. Peter also gained experience as an Independent Technical Engineer at Köhne Engineering.

Peter Koehne obtained a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. Elektrotechnik-Automatisierungstechnik) from FH Bochum between 1989 and 1993. Peter also earned an MBA in Industrial Engineering (Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing.) in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management between 1999 and 2002. In addition, they hold certifications including a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and a Trainer license from K5-Akademie GmbH/Frieder Gamm Group in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany.
