Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Andrew is currently a Principal Engineer at Spektrix, responsible for building and operating the company's SaaS product and leading the technical vision and strategy. Andrew also serves as a technical leader and is involved in architectural design and core software practices.

In addition, Andrew is a Technical Advisor at Odhealth, where they advise on the startup's technical strategy in the field of remote consultations with nutritionists.

Prior to these roles, Andrew worked at ThoughtWorks as a Lead Consultant, fulfilling various roles such as Tech Lead, Developer, and Senior Consultant. Andrew worked on a range of projects in different domains and provided coaching and teaching to developers of all levels.

Andrew also had experience at Esendex as a Developer, where they championed automated testing and deployments and ran test automation workshops. Andrew also worked as a Consultant at ThoughtWorks, traveling to different locations and delivering software projects while coaching developers on agile methodologies and new technologies.

Early in their career, Andrew was a Software Developer at Esendex, specializing in test-driven development and building and maintaining a messaging platform. Andrew also worked as a Junior Development Engineer at NICE Systems, contributing to a large team working on a public security product.

Andrew Jones completed their A Levels in Computing and Archaeology at Brockenhurst College from 2006 to 2008. Andrew then went on to study Computer Games Programming at the University of Derby, where they obtained their BSc (Hons) degree from 2008 to 2012.
