Murillo Tavares

Murillo Tavares currently serves as Partner and Country Manager for Mexico at Spencer Stuart since October 2015, focusing on Consumer Goods, Retail, Private Equity, and Supply Chain in Mexico and Latin America. Tavares is also a member of the Investment Committee at ALLVP since June 2013. Previously, Tavares co-founded and held the CFO position at Emporio San Paolo (Snack-Chic) from March 2012 to September 2015, specializing in gluten-free industrial bakery products. Tavares has extensive experience in the beverage industry, having worked as VP IBS and Integration for Anheuser-Busch InBev and General Manager for Grupo Modelo's Retail Division. Early career roles include leadership positions at Submarino.com and Gradus Management Consultants, and consulting work at McKinsey & Company. Tavares holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and has participated in various leadership and venture capital programs, including a recent Front End Coaching Intensive at Teachers College, Columbia University.
