Paul Lopez

Paul Lopez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Paul started their career in 2002 as a Software Developer at LanWest Pty Ltd, where they developed and supported Academic Reporting Software for schools. From there, they moved on to Intouch Ultima as a Software Developer, where they developed and supported resource management, scheduling, and sales software.

In 2007, Paul joined EMIS as a Software Developer and worked on developing a Medical Information System for practitioners. Paul also mentored and trained junior staff and developers in the Canadian branch of the company.

After that, Paul worked at Communicare Systems as a Senior Developer and Team Lead, where they developed a Clinical Information System for healthcare workers and managed data migration and sharing between medical information systems.

In 2011, they joined Primary Health Care | Information Innovation as a Software Developer, where they focused on developing and supporting a Pathology and Radiology Results Web Portal. Paul also worked on mobile device software development.

In 2016, Paul had a short-term contract with Appstablishment as a Software Analyst Programmer, where they migrated a WinForms time-sheet application to an online time-sheet application.

In 2017, they had another short-term contract with Motion IT Services as a Software Analyt Programmer, where they updated a complex excel spreadsheet template for job costings.

From 2018 to 2022, Paul worked at Spenda in various roles including Delivery Lead, Senior Software Developer, and currently they serve as the Project Lead and Head of Cyber Security. Spenda is a business ecosystem that specializes in B2B software applications, payment solutions, and integration services.

Prior to that, they worked at Racing & Wagering WA (RWWA) as a Senior Analyst Programmer and Support Team Lead, where they were responsible for software analysis, development, and support of greyhound racing systems.

Overall, Paul Lopez has a strong background in software development, with expertise in various programming languages and frameworks such as C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, and Delphi.

Paul Lopez attended Curtin University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a specialization in IT & IS. In addition, they obtained a Scrum Master certification from the International Scrum Institute™ in April 2017.
