Carla Balch has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Carla is currently the CEO and Founder of Spesana, a healthcare platform aimed at improving clinical care and financial return for healthcare stakeholders. Prior to this, Carla served as the CEO of Inteliquet, where they led the company's growth and increased revenue. Carla also held the role of President/COO at Inteliquet, where they initiated a data strategy and secured significant financing. Before joining Inteliquet, Carla worked at NantKwest and NantCare, where they held senior leadership positions and focused on implementing precision cancer medicine. Carla also served as the President/CEO of Altos Solutions, a division of Flatiron Health, and was responsible for the product and market strategy of the company. Carla's work experience also includes roles at Supportive Oncology Services, ACORN, Schering Plough, and the Memphis Bar Association.

Carla Balch completed their education in a chronological order. Carla first attended Belmont University from 1985 to 1987 and earned an AA degree in Business. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Memphis from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a BPS degree in Psychology. Continuing their academic pursuits, Carla later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Psychology from the same institution, completing their studies from 2000 to 2002.
