Soren Goyal

Soren Goyal is a Software Engineer at Spexi Geospatial Inc. since June 2023, focusing on building a marketplace for drone imagery and developing cryptographic solutions for validating and authenticating captured drone images. Prior to this role, Soren worked at Amazon from October 2018 to March 2023 as a Software Development Engineer II in AWS Geospatial, where Soren developed a roadmap for automating region launches of Amazon Location Service. Soren also contributed as a Software Development Engineer on the Alexa team, working on a software stack that manages over 100 million dialogs. In earlier experience, Soren served as a Software Developer at Expedia, Inc., responsible for maintaining a web portal and overseeing test automation. Soren holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
