Amanda Huang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of UX/UI and product design. Amanda has held positions at various companies such as Sphere Entertainment Co., where they currently work as the Lead UIUX designer. Prior to this, they were a Senior UX/Product Designer at Fantasy, where they played a key role in transforming Riot Games' corporate websites into a more personalized and dynamic experience. Amanda also worked at McKinsey & Company as a Senior UX/Product Designer, where they oversaw design practices and facilitated design thinking workshops. Amanda has also worked as a Product Designer at Burberry, tailored UX and UI for the company's eCommerce site for Chinese customers. Amanda has freelanced as a UX/UI Designer for various projects and has experience as a Freelance Interaction Designer at frog. Earlier in their career, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at Pilotfish, contributing to design solutions for appliances, medical devices, and industrial control systems. Amanda began their career as a User Experience Designer at MiTAC Inc. and gained initial experience as a UX/UI Design Intern at BenQ.
Amanda Huang obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Industrial and Product Design from Shih Chien University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Amanda then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Interaction Design from National Chiao Tung University, from 2006 to 2008. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Master Growth in May 2019, and an Advanced Google Analytics certification from Google Analytics for Business in May 2020. Additionally, they obtained two LinkedIn certifications: Hands-On with Design Systems and What Is Generative AI? in August 2023.
