Andrea Ventura

Andrea Ventura has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Andrea started their career as an Electrical Line Installer and Repairer for R&M Elettronica in 2008. Andrea then moved on to pursue a PhD at the Optoelectronics Research Centre - University of Southampton in 2016. In 2020, they took on the role of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Optoelectronics Research Centre. In 2021, they became a Product Design Engineer at Arden Photonics, and they are currently a Senior Engineer at Sphere Fluidics Limited.

Andrea Ventura has a comprehensive education history. From 2009 to 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Università degli studi di Catania. Andrea then furthered their studies by obtaining a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering for Industrial Sustainability from Università di Catania in 2013-2015. Finally, they completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Development of Novel Mid-IR Optical Fibres from the University of Southampton in 2016-2020.
