Rob Yahn

Rob Yahn has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality engineering. Rob started their career at FileNet in 2005 before moving on to IBM in 2006, where they worked as a Software QA Engineer. At IBM, they were responsible for testing various software components and also held project and team lead positions. In 2007, Rob joined Borland Software as an Engineer. Here, they served as a QA automation lead engineer, developing and promoting new test cases for StarTeam's Cross-Platform Client. Rob also designed a new framework for automating the StarTeam Server. In 2010, Rob joined Scenario Virtual Project Delivery as a Senior SQA Test Engineer, where they created test plans, test cases, and automated test suites using TestComplete and Visual Studio Team Test. Rob was later promoted to the role of Senior SQA Manager, where they managed all test and quality assurance efforts for the company's products. Rob's most recent work experience is at Sphere, where they currently hold the position of Director, Software and Systems Quality. In this role, they manage software quality engineering teams and the technical support group for the company's Integrated Payment Application products. Rob reports directly to senior management on software quality and product security and collaborates closely with other departments such as Development, Project Management, and Account Management.

Rob Yahn earned an AS degree in Computer Science from Irvine Valley College, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of California, Irvine, where they completed their BS degree in Information and Computer Science from 2003 to 2005.
