Jordan Meyer has worked in the software engineering industry since 2008. In 2008, they were an Embedded Software Engineering Intern at Plexus Technology Group. In 2009, they were a .Net Web Developer at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. From 2010 to 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Teledyne Tekmar, where they designed and implemented firmware for embedded processors used in analytical scientific instruments, including motor control and temperature control. Jordan also designed desktop GUI and libraries in C# to communicate with instruments over RS-232, RS-485, and USB. In 2020, they became an Embedded Software Engineer at L3Harris Technologies, where they developed custom drivers and modified built in RTOS drivers to support space avionics hardware platform. In 2022, they became a Senior Firmware Engineer at Sphero.
Jordan Meyer obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Computer Engineering degree from Lake Superior State University between 2004 and 2009, with a field of study that included Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, and Math. Additionally, they hold a CompTIA Network+ certification.
