Matt Mead

Matt Mead has held a variety of roles in the sports and education sectors. Matt began their career in 2006 as a Soccer Coach for Major League Soccer. In 2007, they joined Brighton & Hove Albion FC as Deputy Education Development Manager and Head of Education. In 2012, they became Director and Board Member at ROCK IT Enterprise CIC. In 2020, they founded Real CSR Ltd and began working at Sphero as Head of Corporate and Sports Partnerships and Sports Partnerships Manager. In 2022, they joined the Smithsonian Institution as a Member of the Exhibition Advisory Group for the Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation.

Matt Mead obtained a Bsc Sports Coaching and Educational Studies from Oxford Brookes University between 2000 and 2004. Matt then went on to obtain a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Brighton between 2012 and 2015, with a focus on Management and Leadership. In addition, Matt has obtained certifications from lynda.com, the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), Common Purpose, and ABC Awards. These include Getting Things Done by David Allen (2014), Leadership & Management Level 3 (2014), American Express Leadership Academy (2011), and PTLLS Level 4 - Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning sector (2010).
