Paul Bates

Paul Bates is an experienced operations and site manager with a proven track record in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as Site Manager at SPI Pharma since July 2022, Paul previously held the position of Site General Manager at Westmill Foods from February 2012 to July 2022, overseeing P&L responsibilities and strategic development. Prior to that, Paul functioned as Operations Manager at HJ Heinz, managing a sizeable budget and a workforce of approximately 100 personnel. Additionally, experience includes project management at Peterman Consulting, where Paul contributed to significant improvements for various clients, and departmental management at Philips, overseeing a 24/7 glass-making operation. Paul holds a BSc Hons. in Chemistry with Material Science from the University of Liverpool and a Diploma in Manufacturing Management from Blackburn College.
