Sameer Nagpal

Sameer Nagpal is the current Chief Business Officer at Spice Money. Sameer has previously held positions at Reliance Communications, Airtel Payments Bank, and Bharti Airtel.

Nagpal began their career in 2004 at Reliance Communications as a Cluster Head. In this role, they were responsible for the operations of different zones in UP East and played a key role in planning and laying the distribution network.

In 2010, Nagpal joined Bharti Airtel as a General Manager-Zonal Operations. In this role, they were responsible for the sales and operations of Bharti Airtel in the North and East regions of India.

In 2014, Nagpal was promoted to Vice President Sales at Bharti Airtel. In this role, they were responsible for the sales strategy and execution for the company.

In 2017, Nagpal left Bharti Airtel to join Airtel Payments Bank as the Chief Sales Officer. In this role, they were responsible for the conceptualization of the bank's strategy, product roadmap, and go-to-market strategy. Sameer also drove a annualized GMV of 20 Bn USD by working closely with cross functional teams.

Nagpal joined Spice Money in 2020 as the Chief Business Officer.

Sameer Nagpal has completed a Insead Leadership Program for Senior Executives from INSEAD, a PGDBM in Marketing from Symbiosis Center of Management studies, and an Advanced Program in Blockchain and Fintech from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Sameer also has a Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Meerut.

They work with Rajneesh Arora - Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer, Varundeep Kaur - Chief Information Technology Officer, and Kuldeep Pawar - Chief Marketing Officer. Sameer Nagpal reports to Sanjeev Kumar, Co-Founder & CEO.
