Matthew Schwalenberg

Matthew Schwalenberg, P.E. is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in site grading and drainage design. Currently serving as Project Engineer III at Spicer Group since March 2022, Schwalenberg has previously held positions at Roach & Associates, LLC, Nielsen Madsen + Barber, and Jewell Associates Engineers, Inc., where responsibilities included developing construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and utilizing GPS equipment for construction staking. Early professional experience includes roles at USDA-NRCS as a Soil Conservation Technician and Conservation Aide, focusing on designing grade stabilization structures and ensuring compliance through surveying. Schwalenberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
