Andrew J. Friedrich, CISSP, CCSK has over 25 years of work experience in the fields of cybersecurity and marketing. Andrew J. has held various leadership roles in notable companies such as SpiderOak, IBM, and Acxiom. At SpiderOak, they served as the Vice President of Marketing, managing all marketing activities for the cybersecurity start-up. Prior to that, they worked at IBM as the Director of Federal Cyber/Cloud/Big Data Analytic Solutions Marketing & Sales Programs, where they developed and executed marketing strategies aligned with buyer and mission personas. Andrew J. also built and led IBM's first Threat and Fraud Intelligence marketing group. Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as the Senior Director of Federal Product and Marketing Communications at SRD and as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Arkidata Corporation. Andrew J. began their career at XDB Systems as a Senior Marketing Manager. Andrew also serves as a Cybersecurity Advisory Board Member at Pace University - Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. Overall, their expertise lies in cybersecurity marketing, strategic planning, messaging, positioning, and sales enablement.

Andrew J. Friedrich, CISSP, CCSK, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 1985 to 1989. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in April 2019. In June 2019, they also obtained the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge Foundation from the Cloud Security Alliance. Additionally, in September 2019, Friedrich acquired the Certificate Of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the same institution. Lastly, in September 2005, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS.
