Guillaume Barnabé

Guillaume Barnabé is the current Chief Financial Officer at SPIE Oil & Gas Services. Guillaume has 13 years and 4 months of experience with the company. Barnabé’s aim is to achieve excellence in processes for the Group with its 35 world subsidiaries and 4,200 personnel. Guillaume has been instrumental in the design and rollout of the organization system, implementation of risk control and a cash culture, and arranging deferred tax payment across the world. Guillaume has also developed good relations with operational staff to create a business partner bond.

Barnabé is responsible for running accounting, consolidation, financial control and IT finance for the Group with a consolidated turnover of 700m EUR. Guillaume also manages 14 personnel directly and 20 operationally in the subsidiaries. Some sales or acquisitions monitored, contribution to Group listing on the Stock Exchange in 2015.

Along with head of financial control, Barnabé is also the Finance and Administrative director for Africa BU (TO : 110 M€ - 7 subsidiaries in west Africa and Maghreb). Guillaume was responsible for the creation of the post, running accounting and consolidation worldwide in LBO deals, bringing consolidation in-house, and running ERP implementation project worldwide. Guillaume successfully moved to I.F.R.S. GAAP and ERP rollout.

Prior to SPIE Oil & Gas Services, Barnabé worked at NUVIA France as the Administration and Finance Manager at Nuvia, Vinci Group, and Chief accountant then Administration and Finance Manager at Salvarem in the Vinci Group. Guillaume was responsible for the creation of the post and running finance and payroll for 5 subsidiaries with a turnover of 60m EUR and 600 personnel. Guillaume successfully integrated 2 subsidiaries through acquisition and steering a project to put Manpower and Skill Planning in place.

Guillaume Barnabé studied at ISEG, where they obtained their DSCG in accounting. Guillaume studied there from 1998 to 2001.
