Liviu Jianu

Liviu Jianu has worked in the IT industry for over 9 years. Liviu started in 2011 as a Java Software Developer and CRM Administrator at Orange Romania. In 2014, they moved to Thales, where they worked as a Java Software Developer, developing safety critical applications using Java 8 and Eclipse RCP. In 2016, they joined Spigot, Inc. as an iOS Engineering Manager, iOS Engineering Team Lead, iOS Swift Developer and Kotlin Backend Engineer, Android Engineer, and macOS Software Engineer. As an iOS Swift Developer and Kotlin Backend Engineer, they were responsible for taking part in the development of apps with high impact on the end user, such as the Weather, Radar and Wallpapers apps. As a macOS Software Engineer, they were responsible for developing multiple macOS apps in Objective-C, as well as developing an app monetization platform.

Liviu Jianu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Programare computere, aplicații specifice from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest between 2006 and 2010. Liviu then obtained a Masterat în Informatică in Programare computere / Programator, în general from the Academia de Studii Economice din București between 2011 and 2013. Liviu also obtained a Java developer certification from Info Academy Bucharest in November 2012. In November 2016, they obtained an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle. In March 2017, they obtained an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle. Finally, in January 2018, they obtained an Angular 6 - The Complete Guide certification from Udemy.
