Alex MacIa

Alex Macia is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in general litigation and government relations. Currently a Member at Spilman Thomas & Battle since August 2008, Alex has demonstrated a commitment to legal practice throughout the years. Previous roles include Vice President for Legal Affairs at West Virginia University and Member at Spilman Thomas & Battle from January 2005 to July 2007. Alex also served as General Counsel and Chief of Staff in the Governor's Office of West Virginia from January 2001 to January 2005. Alex holds a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School, obtained from 1988 to 1991, and completed undergraduate studies at West Virginia University from 1980 to 1988.
