Christian Colquhoun

Christian Colquhoun is a seasoned mechanical engineer and designer with extensive experience in the toy industry. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer at Spin Master since March 2015, Christian specializes in design, CAD, Solidworks, and various aspects of mechanical and powertrain design. Prior roles include Lead Mechanical Engineer/Designer at Mattel, focusing on innovative projects for the Hot Wheels brand, and Senior Project Design Manager at WOW!Stuff USA. Christian's background encompasses diverse positions at Mattel, including Designer for Tyco RC and Hot Wheels, as well as Special Effects Art Director at C2It Design. Additionally, Christian has contributed to education as a teacher at Otis College of Art and Design and Gnomon School of 3D Visual Effects, imparting knowledge on toy design and model making techniques.
