Gro Leite Størvold

Gro Leite Størvold is an accomplished Clinical Manager and Senior Scientist at SpinChip Diagnostics AS since February 2022, previously serving as a Senior Scientist at Abbott from December 2018 to February 2022. Størvold has a robust academic background, including postdoctoral research at the University of Oslo from August 2013 to December 2018, focusing on project management and biobank organization. Earlier experience includes research at the Biotechnology Centre of Oslo, where Størvold investigated cell death proteomics and cancer therapeutics, and extensive PhD studies at NTNU and the University of Oslo, concentrating on cellular signaling pathways influenced by polyunsaturated fatty acids in cancer treatment and the characterization of oncogenes related to breast cancer. Størvold holds an MSc in Chemistry/Biotechnology from NTNU and a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Oslo.
