Silvia Basilico

Silvia Basilico, Ph.D., is a skilled clinical scientist with extensive experience in the field of cancer research and therapy development. Currently serving as Senior Manager Clinical Scientist at Autolus Ltd. since January 2022, Silvia has previously held positions as Clinical Scientist Manager and Senior Scientist at NovalGen, leading pre-clinical development of advanced CAR T cell therapies and developing cell-based platforms for antibody and CAR T product validation. Silvia's background includes significant contributions to translational research on CAR T-cell therapies at Autolus Ltd. and a focus on drug resistance mechanisms during a Research Associate position at the University of Cambridge. Silvia completed a Ph.D. in Haematology, specializing in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, at the University of Cambridge from 2014 to 2018, following a Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biotechnology and a Bachelor's in medical cellular and molecular biotechnologies.
