Tara Harms

Tara Harms has worked in the corporate world since 2001. Tara began their career as a Recruiter for Lucas Group. In 2004, they moved to Spindustry, where they held the position of Director of Training and SharePoint Services. In this role, they were responsible for selling technical and business skills training, SharePoint services to individuals and corporations. Tara was also the project lead for all SharePoint and custom training programs. In 2019, Harms joined Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa as the Director of Development. In this role, they developed and implemented strategies to meet fundraising goals and create sustainable revenue for the organization. Tara also built relationships with current donors, new donors and cultivated strategic partnerships with corporations. Additionally, they served as the Regional Recruitment Manager, where they drove membership numbers for girls and adult recruitment in designated territory. In 2021, Harms returned to Spindustry as the Business Support Manager.

Tara Harms completed their Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at the University of Iowa between 1995 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended Valley High School between 1991 and 1995.
