Michael Sabates has held a variety of positions in the creative and engineering fields. From 2004 to 2007, they were a 88L- Watercraft Engineer for the US Army. In 2007, they became the Owner of Imagine APE Studios, offering creative services and solutions for a constantly evolving visual world. Also in 2007, they became the Director of New Technologies and Senior Visualization Artist for SPINE3D. In 2010, they began teaching three courses at Florida International University's Studio of Digital Arts, covering topics such as modelling, lighting, texturing, rendering, and animation.
Michael Sabates attended Full Sail University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation and Computer Animation Production.
