Jan Fajfr

Jan Fajfr has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and analysis. Jan started their career at CzechInvest as an Analyst, conducting analysis of IT investment possibilities in Czech Republic as part of an internship program. Afterward, they worked at Mountfield as a Software Developer, where they developed internal applications using .NET technologies. Jan then joined OCTO Technology as a Software Engineer, providing expert advice in Information System Architecture and Software Engineering and participating in the development of applications using various technologies. One of their biggest projects there was the architecture and design of a client and credit rating application for CACIB. Jan then moved on to ID's RFQ-hub as a Software Engineer before joining ITG as a Software Engineer, where they developed a derivative trading application using .NET, C#, F#, SQL Server, FIX integration, ElasticSearch, JavaScript, and D3. Jan is currently working at Spinergie as the Head of Software Engineering.

Jan Fajfr earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2007-2008. Jan then pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2006 to 2011. Later, they continued their education at ENSTA ParisTech, earning a Master's degree in Information Systems in 2010-2011. In addition to their formal education, Jan also obtained several certifications, including MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications from Microsoft in November 2011, and a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge ESOL in March 2006.
