Gabe Kalmar has extensive work experience, primarily as a Director in various companies. Gabe started working at Abilitech Medical, Inc in 2022 as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) until February 2023. Gabe also worked as a Director at SpineX, MintList, Rehabtronics, Bioform Technology, Sonus Microsystems, Zennea Technologies, and HeadCheck Health. Following this, they attended Simon Fraser University from 1986 to 1989 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Virology.

They use rigorously tested neuromodulation technologies to aid recovery and restoration of bladder, bowel, respiration, sexual, and sensorimotor function for individuals with strokes, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries,cerebral palsy, and other neurological conditions. The SCiP device is a non-invasive spinal cord neuromodulation device to treat the underlying neurological dysfunction related to cerebral palsy.
