Megan McGinley

Megan McGinley's work experience includes various leadership roles in finance. Megan is currently the Chief Financial Officer at SpineX, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to their current role, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Sonus Microsystems and Zennea Technologies, starting in February 2021 and June 2021 respectively.

Before joining these companies, Megan worked as a Financial Advisor at Small Business BC from November 2020 to September 2021. Megan also served as a Financial Consultant and later as the Chief Financial Officer at SWITCH Materials from September 2020 to September 2021 and from May 2012 to August 2020 respectively.

Additionally, Megan held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Pangaea Ventures from May 2012 to April 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Corporate Controller at Decision Insight Information Group Inc. from December 2010 to March 2012. Megan began their career at PwC as a Supervisor from January 1988 to August 1991.

Megan McGinley completed their education at various institutions. Megan first attended Bishop Carroll High School from 1979 to 1982. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calgary between 1982 and 1986. Afterwards, Megan went on to attain the designation of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, where they studied from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from UBC Sauder School of Business in 1991-1992. Lastly, Megan also holds a membership with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
