Shawn Sweeney

Shawn Sweeney has a wealth of experience in leadership roles. In 2012, they founded and became the CEO of Spinnaker Consulting Group LLC. In 2019, they became an Official Member of Forbes Finance Council. In 2020, they co-founded and became the CEO of Flying Phase. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Community Board Member of the Junior League of Richmond. From 1998 to 1993, they worked at Capital One, where they held various roles, such as Senior Director - Card Premium Servicing Call Centers, Senior Director - Card Portfolio and Project Management Office, Director - Program Manager, Group Manager - Workforce Planning and Management, Group Manager - Risk Outsourcing Strategy and Analysis, and Senior Analyst - Collections and Recoveries. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1998, they served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer - USS Dallas SSN 700 in the US Navy, where they were responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, at sea maneuvers and system maintenance of a nuclear-powered attack submarine.

Shawn Sweeney attended the United States Naval Academy from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering. Shawn then attended the Naval Nuclear Power School from 1993 to 1994, where they earned an M.S. (equivalent) in Nuclear Engineering.
