Torben Ostergaard

Torben Ostergaard's work experience begins in 1995 with Danske Bank, where they served as the Manager of Risk Management until 1998. Torben then moved on to Fair Isaac, where they worked as a Project Manager from 1998 until 2000. Following this, they joined Manta Ventures as the Director of Risk and Credit for a year. In 2002, Ostergaard joined HSBC, initially as the Director of Risk Management for HSBC Card Services. From 2006 to 2008, they held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for HSBC Financial Canada. In 2008, they transitioned to USAA Bank, where they served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer until 2010. From 2010 to 2016, Ostergaard held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for USAA, and from 2012 to 2020, they also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for USAA Captive Insurance Company. Most recently, in 2021, they became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Spinnaker Insurance Company. Additionally, Ostergaard has been an Advisory Board Member for Opendoor since 2019.

Torben Ostergaard obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Aarhus University, where they studied from 1990 to 1993. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance, also at Aarhus University, from 1993 to 1995.
