Kent Summers

Kent Summers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kent is the Founder & General Partner of Spinnaker Sales Group since 2018. Previously, they worked as an Executive Leadership Coach at Harvard Business School from 2017. Kent also served as the Lead Instructor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 2008. Alongside, they held the position of Member Board of Directors at Sigma Additive Solutions, a manufacturing company in 3D printing markets since 2018. Kent has been a Faculty and Charter Member at TiE Boston since 2016. Prior to that, they were an Operating Partner at Garofalo & Associates since 2001. Kent also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at IQ3Connect Inc. from 2017 to 2023. Kent has held the position of Managing Partner at Practical Computer Applications, Inc. from 2005 to 2017. Additionally, they have held executive roles as CEO at Collego from 2000 to 2001 and as Founder & CEO of MyHelpdesk from 1997 to 2000.

Kent Summers earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Houston, where they attended from 1981 to 1986.
