Joost Quant

Joost (A.J.) Quant is an experienced Advocaat Partner at Galatea Advocaten, specializing in corporate law and labor law, focusing on the status of statutory directors, corporate governance, and media-sensitive matters since May 2019. As of September 2023, Joost serves as the Directeur-Bestuurder of OcK-Zon, overseeing the development of a 45-hectare solar park and is also the Voorzitter of the Raad van Commissarissen at Juridisch Bureau Letselschade & Gezondheidsrecht, a leading firm in personal injury and health law. Additional roles include membership in the tuchtcommissie of the Nederlandse Vechtsportautoriteit and the Raad van Toezicht at Spinoza Lyceum Amsterdam, along with teaching labor law at OSR Juridische Opleidingen. Joost has a diverse educational background, holding advanced degrees in law from renowned institutions such as Emory University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, and has pursued leadership studies at Nyenrode Business University. Joost also acts as the Voorzitter/Trustee of the Van Bijleveltstichting, managing its assets and operations since 2005.
