Michael Peterson

Michael Peterson has a strong background in software development and research and innovation. Michael is currently working at SpinSys-Diné as a Principal Solutions Architect. Prior to this role, they held various positions at SpinSys-Diné, including VP of Research and Innovation, Director of Research and Innovation, Software Architect, Research and Innovation Lead, Software Development Lead, and Software Engineer. Before joining SpinSys-Diné, Michael worked as a SharePoint Developer at ICF International, Solutions Developer at Portal Solutions, SharePoint Developer at SusQtech, and Tester at Bamboo Solutions.

Michael Peterson received a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Tech Studies and Tech Communications from the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2005, focusing on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Michael also obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications in 2012, MCPD: Web Developer in 2008, MCTS: .Net Framework 2.0, Web Applications in 2008, and MCTS: Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Application Development in 2007. Additionally, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in 2017 and the MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 certification from Microsoft in 2015.
