Déjà Joli Waymer, PMP®

Déjà Joli Waymer, PMP®, has a diverse and extensive work experience in project management and events coordination. Most recently, Déjà served as the Cisco Global Events Technical Project Manager at SpiraLinks since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Management Consultant as a freelancer starting in April 2014. From September 2020 to September 2021, they were a Project Manager at Motiv. Déjà also worked at Cvent as a Technical Project Manager for Enterprise Events from October 2017 to May 2020. Déjà Joli gained experience as a Senior Event Coordinator at Galvanize Inc from May 2016 to November 2018 and as an Events Manager (Independent Contractor) at Lone Star School of Music from May 2016 to October 2018. Additionally, Déjà worked as an Events Group Contractor (Contract Position) at Emerson Automation Solutions from August 2017 to October 2017. Déjà Joli also held the role of Director of Exhibits at Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals from September 2015 to March 2016. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Program Director at The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research from July 2014 to September 2015. Déjà Joli'swork experience also includes being the Small Satellite Conference Coordinator and Exhibit Manager at Utah State University Research Foundation from November 2012 to January 2014.

Déjà Joli Waymer, PMP®, holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Administration from North Carolina Central University, which was completed from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in June 2020. Further certifications include Agile Scrum Certification Training from the Master of Project Academy in July 2020. Déjà Joli also holds certifications in various modules of RainFocus, including the Content Module obtained in February 2022, the Attendee Module obtained in January 2022, and the Exhibitor Module obtained in December 2021. Additionally, Déjà has certifications in Time Management: Working from Home and Communicating with Empathy, obtained from LinkedIn in April and March 2020, respectively. Déjà Joli holds several Coursera Course Certificates, including Budgeting and Scheduling Projects, Operational Finance: Finance for Managers, Accounting: Principles of Financial Accounting, and Initiating and Planning Projects, all obtained in November and October 2016. Déjà also obtained a Duolingo French Fluency certificate in Elementary French in September 2016. Furthermore, they hold a Cvent Event Management certification from Cvent, obtained in April 2020.
