Darren Towers

Darren Towers is an experienced professional with a strong background in inclusion, equity, and sustainability. Currently, Darren serves as the Group Head of Inclusion, Equity and Wellbeing at Spirax Group, fostering an inclusive culture and promoting mental health across the organization. As the Founder and Head Penguin of The Kind Penguins, Darren champions organic, ethical fashion and supports environmental and social causes. Previous roles include Executive Director at Stonewall, where Darren led a major LGBT charity, and various leadership positions at EDF Energy, focusing on education, sustainability, and diversity. With extensive experience in conservation, sustainability strategy, and team management at companies like Thames Water and SANCCOB, Darren is dedicated to creating a positive impact in both the workplace and the environment. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (hons) in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London.
