Helen Selwood has a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000. In 2015, they completed a BSL Level 1 degree in British Sign Language from Teach Me Sign. From 2015 to 2016, they further pursued British Sign Language education at Sign for Thoughts. In 2016 to 2017, they achieved proficiency in BSL level 3 in British Sign Language from the same institution. Helen Selwood also has an Intermediate degree in Wine & Spirits from WSET, which they acquired in 2007.
