Lois Crandell

Lois Crandell has extensive work experience in operations and leadership roles. Lois currently serves as the Vice President Operations for Electric Thermal Solutions Business Unit at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc. In this role, they lead manufacturing, sourcing, and engineering operations for the company's comprehensive portfolio of heat and control products.

Prior to their current position, Lois was the President of Roper Corporation at GE Appliances, where they directed operational aspects and controlled P&L for a cooking appliance facility. Lois introduced Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies and achieved high Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) ratings. Lois also served as the Plant Leader for the Injection Molding Center of Excellence, overseeing day-to-day operations and implementing a comprehensive business plan.

Before joining GE Appliances, Lois worked at GE Aviation, where they held various leadership roles. Lois was the Executive Sourcing Leader for the composites commodity, overseeing a global team and expanding supplier relationships. Lois also served as the Chief Manufacturing Engineer, leading the implementation of manufacturing and engineering strategies. Additionally, they worked as an Evaluation Engineer, coordinating resources for testing and building innovative engines.

Throughout their career, Lois has demonstrated expertise in driving operational excellence, implementing strategic initiatives, and promoting a strong safety culture. Lois has a track record of achieving significant improvements in efficiency and quality.

Lois Crandell completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at Alfred University. Lois also obtained additional certifications as a Certified Lean Leader, Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from GE.
