Mike Cardamone

Mike Cardamone has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mike currently holds the position of HR Director - Electric Thermal Solutions, Americas at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Talent Management for Electric Thermal Solutions at the same company from February 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, Mike worked at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. starting from June 2017. Mike first served as an HR Business Partner and managed the HR relationship for the Technology function. Mike provided thought leadership in various HR aspects including performance management, talent acquisition, learning & development, and compensation. Later, they became the Manager of Talent Management, leading a team focused on identifying, developing, and retaining AEO talent. Mike'sresponsibilities included performance management, talent & succession planning, leadership development, onboarding, and associate engagement.

Prior to their tenure at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC., Mike worked at DDI | Development Dimensions International from December 2012 to February 2017. Mike held multiple roles during this period, including Consulting Associate and Project Manager. As a Consulting Associate, they provided strategic consulting services related to talent management for global clients and facilitated leadership development programs. As a Project Manager, they supported a consulting team, led innovation projects, and developed core competency models for a global retail corporation.

Mike's earlier experience includes working as a Legal Assistant at Lawrence D. Brudy & Associates, Inc. from November 2011 to December 2012, and as a Settlement Agent II at National Real Estate Information Services from August 2010 to November 2011.

Mike also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University, which they earned between 2005 and 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach from Gallup in June 2021 and as a DDI Certified Facilitator from DDI | Development Dimensions International in 2015.
