Shaun Laubscher

Shaun Laubscher has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shaun currently holds the position of Global HR Director, Steam Specialties at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, a global FTSE 100 company. In this role, they are responsible for managing HR functions related to talent and organizational development. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Investor Relations at Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc.

Before joining Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, Shaun founded and directed Leadership Habits, a company focused on leadership development. Shaun also worked at Genworth, where they held various positions including Director of Talent Development, Divestiture HR Lead, and Director of Learning & Development, Europe. Earlier in their career, Shaun worked at Old Mutual as a Finance Manager and Senior Marketing Consultant, and at Horwath as an Audit Manager.

Shaun Laubscher has a diverse education history. In 1989, they attended Stellenbosch University and earned a B.Accounting degree, with a focus on Accounting. Following this, from 1993 to 1995, Shaun pursued further education at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they obtained a (Hons) B. Compt degree in Accounting. In 2002, Shaun studied at the University of Cape Town, receiving an Advanced Certificate in Leadership. In 2005, Shaun enrolled at The Thierry Graduate School of Leadership and completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree, specializing in Leadership. Finally, in 2022, Shaun attended Harvard Business School for Executive Education in Leading Global Business.
