James MacLellan

James MacLellan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James currently holds the role of Principal Product Manager - C&I at Spirax Sarco since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ABB from 2012 to 2021, holding the positions of Area Sales Manager and Applications Engineer. Before that, they worked at Intech Instruments Ltd in Sales & Marketing from 2006 to 2012. James also has experience in education, having worked as a Teacher of Mathematics & Science at Cromwell College, Central Otago, NZ from 2005 to 2006, and as a Classroom Teacher / Rugby Director at Huntly College, Waikato, NZ from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they have previous experience at Analytical Technology & Control Ltd as a Sales Engineer / Marketing from 2003 to 2004, and as a Sales Engineer (Process & Chemical) from 1998 to 2000.

James MacLellan attended Nottingham Trent University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Chemistry. In 2000 to 2001, they studied at Christchurch College of Education and obtained a Diploma in Secondary Teaching & Learning with a focus on Science (Chemistry). In 2014, they went to CPIT (Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology) and completed a course in Electrical Service Technician, accredited by the NZ Electrical Workers Registration Board. Additionally, James MacLellan obtained PMC Level I, PMC Level II, and PMC Level III certifications from Pragmatic Institute in 2022.
