Matthew Cook

Matthew Cook has a wealth of experience in the real estate and investment industry. Matthew is the founder and director of Spire Capital, a global alternative investments firm with over A$1,500M invested across various strategies. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Funds Management at The Denison Group, where they sourced and structured value-add investments. Before that, they were the Managing Director of Pact Property, where they managed a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail assets. Matthew also held positions at Knight Frank, Savills, Avison Young Vancouver, and Hooker Corporate, where they gained experience in property sales, leasing, and asset management.

Matthew Cook completed their education at various institutions. In 1980-1986, they attended St Patricks College, Strathfield, where they obtained their HSC certification. Matthew then enrolled in the University of Western Sydney (Hawkesbury) from 1987 to 1989, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business (Land Economy) with a focus on Property Valuation & Agency. Later, from 1998 to 2001, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment, specializing in Investment Management at the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA).
