Roberto L.

Roberto L. has a diverse work history starting in 2007. Roberto began as a Field Manager for Vialidad BALCHIC C.A., overseeing earthmoving operations for multiple construction projects. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the General Manager of Equipos e Inversiones LEANPA, C.A., where they co-founded the company and managed operations and staff coordination. Roberto then worked as a Civil Engineer at Grupo Alecon from 2012 to 2015, where they supervised residential projects and provided constructability input for future projects. In 2016, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Transportation Research at UT Austin, conducting comparative analysis and developing production rate resources. Roberto joined Spire Consulting Group, LLC in 2017 as an Associate Consultant and progressed to roles such as Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant, and Associate Principal. Roberto also held leadership positions at the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) Austin Chapter from 2019 to 2021.

Roberto L. completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana (VE) from 2004 to 2009. In 2011, they received a Certificate in Project Management from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Later, from 2016 to 2017, Roberto pursued a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Project Management from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2018.
