Bill Keating

Well-respected for his sterling work ethic and dutiful approach, Bill Keating leads by example as the Executive VP and CFO of SPIRE Hospitality™. His proven leadership skills, diverse financial background, and innate ability to oversee multi-faceted projects, enables SPIRE to achieve superior financial results.

Bill began his career in the tax departments of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, and Lane Industries after earning his LL.M. in Taxation from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and his B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Over the past 40 years, Bill has gained invaluable experience in strategic planning, finance, real estate development, and operations, leading initiatives for the development of office, residential, retail, and mixed-use projects. Prior to joining SPIRE, Bill worked extensively in acquisition activities for Lane Industries and its subsidiaries, where he oversaw numerous acquisitions in the hospitality, radio broadcasting, and security service industries.

With broad experience working with all types of lenders during several financial cycles, workouts, and restructurings, including under challenging conditions, Bill has the expertise and insights required to govern all aspects of SPIRE financial matters, and assist with financial and sales projections for SPIRE investor partners.
