M. Furkan Oruç

M. Furkan Oruç currently serves as a Sales Engineer in the Maritime sector at Spire, starting January 2024. Previously, M. Furkan Oruç was a Data Scientist focused on Generative AI at C Space, where significant contributions included leading the development of AIOps products that achieved widespread adoption. Experience as an AI Research Intern at the Allen Institute for AI involved prototyping methods to predict fishing hot spots using machine learning. M. Furkan Oruç also held roles as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University, a Data Science Associate at Truist, and an Analyst for Product Marketing at Google, among others. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Statistics with Computer Science from Georgia State University and a Research Master's in Civil Engineering from Özyeğin University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from both Boğaziçi University and The University of Queensland.
