Matthew Soltis

Matthew Soltis currently serves as the Director of Cloud Infrastructure and AI/ML at Spire since 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Senior Director of Platform Services Engineering at Maxar Technologies from 2020 to 2023 and worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Medtronic ST Neurosurgery from 2015 to 2020. Earlier in the career, Matthew served as the Director of Product Management and QA at Auddia from 2012 to 2015 and spent a decade at NASA Johnson Space Center as a Data Scientist and Software Engineer. Matthew began the professional journey at Alcatel-Lucent as a Data Scientist and Software Engineer from 1997 to 2002, following service as a Marine Officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1989 to 1997, which included over 1200 flight hours in the F/A-18D and roles as a Flight Instructor and Aviation Safety Officer. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Physics from the University of Virginia, with further education at the Naval Postgraduate School.
