Mike Chandonais

Mike Chandonais is a seasoned aerospace engineer with a diverse background in structural analysis, design engineering, and mission concept development. Currently serving as a Sales Engineer for Space Services at Spire, Mike plays a pivotal role in supporting sales discussions and serving as the primary technical point of contact for customers. Prior to this role, Mike held various engineering positions, including Mission Concepts Engineer and Design Engineer at Benchmark Space Systems, where innovative mission concepts were developed for space exploration. Experience as a Principal Structural Engineer at Northrop Grumman involved performing structural analysis for commercial spacecraft, while roles at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation and The Spaceship Company focused on airframe structural analysis and design. Educational credentials include a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University.
