Tera Cederquist

Tera Cederquist has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of graphic design and creative direction. Tera is currently working as an Art Director at Spire since 2021. Before that, they served as the Head of Visual Brand at Expanse from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Visual Designer at Symantec from 2017 to 2019.

Tera's most notable role was as a Creative Director at Splunk, Inc from 2011 to 2015, where they provided creative direction and project management for various design aspects such as user events, web and product UX, icon and diagram libraries, presentation graphics, collateral and email templates, video, and brand guidelines. Tera also played a key role in strategic brand development and execution.

At VMware, Tera worked as an Art Director from 2008 to 2011, overseeing the corporate brand development and management across all media. Tera also served as an Associate Art Director from 2005 to 2008 at the same company, where they were responsible for collateral design, event design, logo development, brand system development, product diagrams, and project management.

Prior to their corporate roles, Tera worked as an Instructor of Graphic Design at Platt College San Diego in 2003, and as a Graphic Designer, Retouch, and Production Artist at Zinc Studio from 1999 to 2001.

Their early career also includes roles as a Graphic Designer, Retouch, and Production Artist at Rosco Digital Imaging and Folio D from 1996 to 1999, and as a Retouch and Production Artist at Nash Editions from 1994 to 1996.

Tera Cederquist holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from UC San Diego and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fine Art from Claremont Graduate University.
