Zack Bowles

Zack Bowles has extensive experience in satellite operations and engineering. Zack started their career at the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera - Arizona State University, where they worked as a Research Analyst and Mission Operations. Zack then moved on to Terra Bella (formerly Skybox Imaging) and worked as a Satellite Controller, responsible for monitoring and responding to spacecraft and ground anomalies. Later, Zack joined Spire Global as a Senior Satellite Operations Engineer, where they focused on maintaining the health and safety of the satellite fleet. Zack eventually became a Manager and Lead for Senior Satellite Operations Engineers at Spire. Additionally, Zack also worked at SPIRE GLOBAL UK LIMITED as an Embedded Software Engineer and Embedded Engineer, specializing in satellite platforms and ADS-B payload.

Zack Bowles holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Zack also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Arizona State University. In addition to their formal education, Zack has obtained various certifications, including Risk Assessor from Spire Global UK, and has completed numerous online courses and trainings on platforms such as LinkedIn.
