Iyad Salti

Iyad Salti has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Iyad is currently the Sales Director at Spirent Communications, a position they have held since 2022. Before joining Spirent, Iyad worked at Ericsson for 18 years, holding various roles of increasing responsibility. These roles include Presales Director, Senior Presales Manager, Sales Engagement Director, Sales Engagement Manager, Program and Contract Manager, Operations Support Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Core Network and Service Layer Implementation Manager, and Senior Core Network Implementation Engineer. Throughout their career at Ericsson, Iyad demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing teams, and developing relationships with key stakeholders. Iyad has achieved significant results, such as growing the Managed Services Sales pipeline, securing groundbreaking deals, and driving growth in sales. Prior to Ericsson, Iyad worked at MTN as a Core and RAN unit supervisor, where they supervised and managed the operations of the core and RAN network for a major mobile operator. Overall, Iyad's work experience showcases their expertise in sales, pre-sales, managed services, and operations management in the telecommunications industry.

Iyad Salti received a B.Sc in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Damascus University from 1996 to 2001. Iyad later pursued their Masters in MBA from the University of Bradford from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Level 1 Leadership from SHL in 2019, Challenger Sales from Ericsson in 2017, and Sales Opportunity Creation (SOC) from Ericsson in 2015.
