Janne Linkola

Janne Linkola has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Janne is currently the Director of Product Management at Spirent Communications, a role they have held since July 2020. Prior to that, they were the Head of Business Development, North America at AirTies Wireless Networks from 2019 to 2020.

From 2015 to 2020, Janne worked at Altice as a Fellow, where they managed a forward-looking engineering team responsible for innovating new services and technologies. Janne'sprojects included spearheading the development of a distributed wifi router design and driving the engineering design for the first deep MVNO in the USA.

Before Altice, Janne was a Partner at MAG Consulting from 2010 to 2015, leading the technical practice and working on various projects involving product requirement design and implementation of test campaigns.

From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Principal Consultant at IBB Consulting Group, where they focused on designing and delivering new product launches in the mobile telecommunications sector, including wifi network design and testing.

Prior to that, Janne held the role of Director of Business Development at Nokia in 2005, and Director of Product Development at T-Mobile USA from 2000 to 2005, where they managed a team and successfully launched services and platforms generating significant annual sales.

Janne's early work experience includes being a Product Development Manager at Aerial Communications in 1999. Overall, they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in product management, business development, and technical consulting to their current role at Spirent Communications.

Janne Linkola completed their education in Electrical Engineering at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1987 to 1995, earning an MSc EE degree.
